 The size of the ring is a measure that indicates the circumference or sometimes the diameter of smart rings or jewellery rings.

 You can gauge the size of rings using a paper, metal or plastic ring sizer (a gauge) or by measuring the inner diameter a ring that is already installed.



 



 Ring sticks can be used to determine the inner diameter of rings. They are usually made of delrin, plastic, or wood. They can also contain different substances. For exact measurements, digital ringsticks can be used.

 International standard



 ISO 8653 - 2016 defines standard sizes for rings. It is measured by the circumference of the band in millimetres. The ISO sizes are available to measure the circumference of a ring in Austria (France, Germany, Belgium and Scandinavia (Norway. Sweden. Denmark. Finland. Iceland.)
