Ellie Jane Goulding was born in Hereford England on December 30 1986. Tracey Goulding Summers was her mother and Arthur Goulding belonged to a family of undertakers. Goulding is the second child with a brother called Alex as well as an older sister called Isabel as well as a sister called Jordan. Alex her younger brother plays on the guitar. Alex also is part of a group from Hereford. As a child, her mom encouraged her to become a musician. When she was in the 9th grade when she began learning the clarinet.
